Context & Challenge
Gmina Gać implemented an investment aimed at improving the energy efficiency of street lighting and reducing its operating costs. The existing luminaires were worn out and generated higher energy consumption, which made it necessary to replace them with modern LED solutions.
Scope & Solution
The project included the dismantling of old luminaires and the installation of 422 new LED luminaires together with supporting and suspension equipment on existing poles. As part of the investment, 37 control cabinets were also modernized, equipping them with systems that improve the safety and efficiency of the installation.
Outcome
The investment resulted in the modernization of the street lighting system in Gmina Gać, improving visibility and safety after dark while significantly reducing energy consumption. The modernization made it possible to reduce energy use by around 51.38% and CO₂ emissions by approximately 75.45 tons annually.
