Context & Challenge
The modernization of street lighting in the Gmina Ropczyce was driven by the need to improve energy efficiency and the quality of lighting in public spaces. The investment, which covered the city's bypass section, required adapting the existing infrastructure to current technical standards and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The challenge was also to integrate new fixtures with the existing lighting control system.
Scope & Solution
The project included the modernization of lighting by replacing existing fixtures with modern LED solutions. As part of the investment, 130 fixtures were supplied and installed, with 24 fixtures of 40W power and 106 fixtures of 75W power. Measurements of insulation resistance and verification of the functionality of the electrical installation safety system were also performed. New fixtures were integrated with the existing lighting control and management system in the municipality.
Outcome
The outcome of the investment is a more efficient and energy-saving street lighting system, providing better visibility and safety for road users. The modernization contributed to reducing energy consumption and improving the functionality of the lighting system through its integration with the existing control infrastructure.
