Context & Challenge
The “Lighting Up the Ulchówek Municipality” project was implemented under the Government "Polski Ład" Fund: Strategic Investment Programme to improve the energy efficiency of lighting infrastructure across the municipality. The investment addressed the need to modernize the existing public lighting system and reduce costs related to its operation and energy consumption.
Scope & Solution
The scope of the investment included the comprehensive modernization of lighting infrastructure through the dismantling of existing sodium and mercury fixtures and the installation of modern LED luminaires for street and park lighting. The works also included the replacement of wiring, installation of fuse holders, branch terminals and the modernization of mounting elements of the lighting infrastructure. The works were carried out in accordance with the project documentation and applicable technical and quality requirements.
Outcome
The investment increased the energy efficiency of the public lighting system, reduced electricity consumption, and improved the quality and reliability of lighting infrastructure across the municipality. The modernization also contributed to improved safety and comfort for users of public spaces.
