Context & Challenge
Gmina Kańczuga faced the challenge of ensuring uninterrupted operation of the street lighting system, covering 1,727 lighting points, including 1,581 LED luminaires and 146 park lamps. Maintenance and operation of these devices had to be carried out in accordance with applicable technical standards and regulations on health and safety and protection against electric shock.
Scope & Solution
The contractor’s task was to maintain all lighting points and 93 control cabinets in proper working condition, ensuring monthly flat-rate servicing. In addition, geolocation software was connected to the lighting system, enabling ongoing monitoring of infrastructure condition. This made it possible to quickly detect faults and optimize system operation.
Outcome
The order ensured effective maintenance and upkeep of the lighting system in Kańczuga, providing safe and efficient lighting throughout the year. The use of modern technologies and regular servicing minimized the risk of failures and contributed to improving residents’ quality of life.
