Context & Challenge

The street lighting modernization project in Gmina Hrubieszów was implemented under the Strategic Investment Programme “Rozświetlamy Polskę”. The investment aimed to improve the energy efficiency of the existing infrastructure, reduce operating costs, and increase the safety of road users and public spaces.

Scope & Solution

The scope of the investment included the replacement of 624 existing street lighting fixtures with modern, energy-efficient LED luminaires equipped with remote control capabilities and the required quality and safety certificates. The project also included the modernization of power supply elements and safety devices, installation of soft-start systems, inspection of the technical condition of the installation, and preparation of complete as-built documentation with technical and photometric measurements. The works also covered the positioning of new luminaires, calibration of lighting parameters, and disposal of materials removed from the existing infrastructure.

Outcome

The investment significantly reduced electricity consumption and improved the quality and reliability of the street lighting system in Gmina Hrubieszów. The modernized infrastructure was adapted to current technical standards and prepared for the further development of intelligent lighting management systems.
