Context & Challenge
The “Energy-Efficient Lighting in Gmina Firlej” project was implemented to improve the energy efficiency of the lighting infrastructure and reduce the operating costs of the street lighting system. The investment was financed from the Government Fund Polski Ład: Strategic Investment Programme.
Scope & Solution
The scope of the investment included the supply, installation, and commissioning of 444 brand-new, energy-efficient LED luminaires. The luminaires used had the required ENEC, ENEC+, and ZD4i certificates, confirming high quality and compliance with modern technical standards. The project included comprehensive modernization of the lighting infrastructure, along with the implementation of solutions enabling a significant reduction in electricity consumption.
Outcome
The investment enabled a reduction in the installed power of lighting fixtures by at least 50%, which translated into lower energy intensity of the street lighting system and reduced operating costs. The modernization also contributed to improved quality and reliability of the lighting infrastructure.
